Are you perhaps wondering what a farm has to do with energy and coaching? Everything! Since moving to this wild patch of land five years ago, we've had a front row seat as nature shows us how she gets things done. Birth, death, growth and harvest each have their rhythms and demands. We've had to learn fast and do the hard work of caring for the many lives that depend upon us. In return, we've been rewarded with deep satisfaction after a loving effort, a daily sense of purpose, and a keen awareness that nature doesn't keep score -- there is no good and bad. Things just are. Here. Now. This simple realization brings peace and a new appreciation for every delicate life and moment.We love sharing our life on the farm and will add more tidbits as time allows. For now though, we're busy putting up fences....

New lambs born 4/4/11
We lost our first two lambs earlier in the season due to extreme cold
(in spite of our human interventions), so to see these two thriving is
precious. I told those first two to come back and try again.
Remarkably, it seems like they did as this second set is nearly
identical to the first -- two boys with one smaller and blacker than
the other. I swear they doubled in size during their first week.
Mom's name is Sunshine and this is her first time as a mother. It's evidence of God's wisdom in all things that she knows just what to do.
